(NRPC 2007) By comparison, the operative words are, ââ¬Å"A lawyer may reveal informationâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ in the case of the ABA Model and ââ¬Å"A lawyer shall reveal informationâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ in the case of the Nevada Code of Conduct. The difference is clear: Nevada puts the responsibility directly on counselââ¬â¢s shoulders, under an order ââ¬Å"shallâ⬠, for responsibility directly related to ineffective action or inaction from counsel when counsel has knowledge that results in the prescribed outcomes of a clientââ¬â¢s representation found in paragraph (c ). The ABA makes no demonstrative statement to counselââ¬â¢s responsibility but infers a passionate and ethical response by counsel ââ¬Å"mayâ⬠without providing for possible responsibility of ineffective action or inaction of client
